727 West Madison

Recently moved to 727 and this must be the worst apartment when it comes to resident safety and security. Simply said, resident safety and security is not taken serious by the Bozzuto management team. 727 advertises "secured access-controlled parking", which is hardly secure given the recent string of mugging and car break-in incidents. Our car got broken into recently and the management team was sketchy in holding back info and unhelpful. Same with the package room, which is left wide open to the public and hundreds of packages are lined up outside of the package room and scattered across the public lobby. Heard multiple incidents of packages being stolen. I regret not taking the time to talk to current and past residents before leasing here instead of relying on all these inflated reviews (Bozzuto gives out renewal bonuses and reward points for posting a Google review). Finally if you’re considering leasing here, I highly recommend checking out 727 at night before signing a lease -- it's completely different environment and nothing like the tour during the day...

The building is stunning, and the amenities are great. Unfortunately, quite a few restrictions. The hot tub has been shut down more than it has been open in my 2.5 years of living here - I have not been able to use it for the past 11 months. You can only have 2 guests in ALL amenity areas. There is a pool security guard that walks around and will rip towels off chairs if you are not physically sitting in it - last week I watched her verbally attack a resident and threaten her and the response from Bozzuto has been less than helpful. The front door was broken for months, and it is a revolving door of staff working at the building since we can’t retain anyone. The elevators have also been consistently out - there were multiple occasions where I had to take the stairs (lucky for me I was on the 10th floor) Again, I LOVED my unit and the building, as well as all the people in it (I have made SO many friends here). But the Bozzuto management company has been fully dropping the ball for the past year and does not take responsibility for their actions.

I went for an apartment tour and really liked the building. They have a wide variety of amenities and super close to all the restaurants and shops. The building is also next to Whole Foods. The leasing assistant was very descriptive, helpful and answered all the questions. If you are looking for an apartment in West Loop, highly recommend it.

Our experience from the site tour all the way up the move in has been wonderful. I would like to especially say thank you to Ronyel! She was a fantastic tour guide and a wealth of information for us as we were looking to make our decision. Once we had signed a lease Ronyel continued to assist us in getting everything set up and ensured we love our new apartment in this community. Thank you again!
